Hello! I'm Laurie

After a career in nursing, followed by 7 years of being a full time stay at home mom, I started this business to create a flexible life for me and my family. I love bookkeeping! There, I said it. Unpopular opinion I know, but I do. I love my job and I love helping awesome business owners (like you!) feel more confident in their finances.

I am originally from the Fraser Valley (dairy farm kid!), but moved to the sunny Okanagan in 2014. When I'm not busy at work, I love to spend my free time with my husband, our four beautiful (but really loud) kids, and our pup, Penny.

I love what I do, but even more, I love the flexibility this business gives me. I started Pinetree so I could be there for the little yet important moments... a sick child, a school performance, or just being home when it matters. My goal is to help other women business owners build successful businesses that give them that same freedom.
